A busy weekend of racing for Acorn, with a big turnout for the beautiful Swaledale Marathon (3rd placed men's team 🥉), 10th place for @davidbarrettyork at the Hardmoors Sutton Bank Marathon, Martin Briggs completing the half, and the annual York Beer Mile seeing Acorn retain the "Chunder Cup" for a 3rd year 🍺🤮🏃🏻🏃🏼‍♀️ #trailrunning #beermile

Tuesday evening found Acorn hosting their race of the #yorkdistrictroadraceleague with the Knavesmire 10k. A "marmite" race: very fast but a mentally challenging 3 lapper. The sun shone, a bit too much wind blew, many a PB was smashed, and the event was a big success thanks to Laura and the crack team of marshals. The people's champ Chris Poulton even lent Kieron his race shoes for the day! #yorkrunners
